Glasgow most takeaways are delivery which eases a lot for many who don't want to go out and about , even mcdonalds only takeaway

reg that's tough man , i imagine you were about to enjoy summer increases also

is yours a buisenes that could switch to some kind of home delivery , as shops are sparse , folk don't want to be there and soon its limited entry ?

Been laid off myself. Went in yesterday and today to finish a plot off. No idea when I will work again just yet. There’s lots of provisions in place for the employed, but I didn’t see much that’d help the self employed.

They will defer tax payments for a year. That doesn’t help me though as 20% is stopped each week at source. I wonder if they’ll give me that back!? Will they fook!

have to apply for universal credit i have heard ,have to apply on line and they want to know the ins and outs of a magpies ar$hole on the form ,then you may be lucky and get about £80. can imagine the amount of claims they are gonna be having so good luck with that .

Walked down to local this afternoon, there must have been about 30+ regulars in,when Boris came on telly turned up and everyone watching, when they announced pubs etc closing from midnight the reaction was i'm guessing not far away from our parents/grandparents reaction when war was declared!

Sympathy with those in the hotel and restaurant business. I have 2 holiday cottages and all bookings cancelled until the end of April so far. Luckily it is a retirement business so not reliant on it. I could employ a builder/handyman for a month at least to catch up with maintenance. All of our local people that I have contacted are booked for 6 months minimum.

i know your off reg , may be worth taking a youngster on to do the legwork if trade justifies

i would imagine almost everyone even normally would like stuff delivered tho im not sure exactly what you specialize in , likely 5/10 deliveries compared to maybe one before but if theres an increase it could still pay mate , also time limit for orders to plan a cost effective route

you would have a nominal delivery charge and maybe spend requirement to justify drops that would cover part of any extra wage , also maybe slightly higher selling price as less bulk per drop

for sure tho the demand is there so all down to advertising but that's  easier now  with social media  , good luck anyway man
