Whether they dirty delay people or not, mass cancellations are now inevitable. What will happen thereafter when things return to normal is they'll all be jumping over each other to better their "deals". I'm done with ALL the money grabbing pigs. As Ali G would say, my mate Dave can get a TV Smart Stick with ALL channels for £50 a year. This is the only way to go imo.

You are more than likely talking about Kodi - which may well have dodgy streams that work sometimes or then get removed etc, and are miles behind live.

Certain things you can get on a stick (monthly or annual subs) are perfect, plenty in HD, granted you couldn't use for betting purposes due to behind live but you can't use RUK or ATR for that either. The Fury fight a few weeks ago was about 20 seconds behind live. Get a decent one and they are very good depending on what you want.

I am happy to be corrected tim and magic-days.  Just from my (limited) experience I have been happy to pay sky for the convenience, especially when you can really haggle them down.

Sounds like these gadgets have improved, may need to look at one for the caravan.
Report s.kenbo March 17, 2020 1:34 PM GMT
I still have Sky Sports as well as the app. If you take away every sporting event you can still watch new films, new tv series, live tv, Netflix, every bookmakers channel (still sport!) catch up tv, loads of porn channels. The list is endless, and there’s probably loads more on there than I’ve not even looked at. For a small yearly fee, or even add them yourself at no cost, it’s very handy to have.

Has anybody got any box set recommendations? Preferably one that’ll last at least six weeks! Grin
Report timbuctooth March 17, 2020 1:39 PM GMT
Please do, equine, you won`t be disappointed.
I understand such gadgets used to suffer from all the types of problems people are scared of, but things have changed, at least for MAGs. I paid a one-off £45 for the box itself, and pay £15 a month; I know I might be able to get it cheaper if I looked around, but I`m far too happy with what I`ve got to be bothered. So much so that I bought five family members a box and a year`s subscription each for Christmas a year ago, telling them that if they weren`t happy with it to throw it in the bin and go back to Sky; none did, all five boxes were renewed

Just send them an email marked "URGENT" and set-out why it was sent eg recorded phone message/long waiting time, and a timetable for them to get back to you. This is to ensure there is no negative comeback regards cancellation.

It's their fault if they do not increase staffing level in this department accordingly.

Log onto sky.com online, go to My Account, then click on View Bill and you'll see your current bill. Along the top you'll see an option for Future Bills. Click on that and look at them, and you'll probably see your future bills reduced.

I did, despite continually getting that online Error message, and not having phoned on account of being deaf.
