its between 0.9 and 1 sec quicker here.

its way quicker than 0.6 ahead..ive got it nearly 1 sec ahead of sky rtv..so theoretically should be same speed as facetime..obv would need a comparison to confirm... curious why would it work firefox/win7 as opposed to firefox/win10? and the other thing its only a small window to watch it. |

i timed it to be about the same willie , 0.9 - 1 second ahead of RTV
what does that make it behind live . also , whatever it is behind live, what would that make it behind on course boxes , i'm assuming there is still a 0.1 - 0.2 delay for on course pics . |

it should only be 0.3 - 0.4 behind live..similar to ft.

There is no excuse for anyone not to bet in-running now if you think you are a good race-reader. All those people who only bet before the off because of the delay can now hopefully get involved and increase liquidity and opportunities for all.

Hmmm, well I’d imagine it would feel a lot different at the RTV tracks if this test becomes the norm. Most users of ft wouldn’t have been as quick as this LV was though would they, add to that however many the home player market contain and that’s a lot more breathing down the neck |

how do you know rtv was its usual speed last night and could of been slowed to make live vid look quick? has everyone just all of a sudden thought these pics last night were .4 behind the track? |

They will have timed both against the talking clock rl.
wd booty, top stuff as per. My only slight criticism would be, why only a trial? Now that it has been shown to work can they not just use it at every rtv track from here on in? p.s when flash runs out for atr tracks, they've no excuse now not to use the same tech as what rtv were using last night so ALL tracks, sky/atr and rtv should be .4 to .5 behind live at worst going forward |

I have one of those atomic clock things that are bang on to the second always and its always tallied with the assumed delays on the rTV clock Lastnight the atomic clock to lv clock was around 0.5s ish (I didnt get the stopwatch) So unless the sky transmission RTV and the atomic clock are both in this conspiracy together then Id suggest it was just a much better quicker LV stream (however they are doing it) |
