These New Race Start times - are utter NONSENSE

1.30 would always be close to end of 3m ch off at 1.23 Donc...extra minute sensible surely (without getting too close to next @ 1.40)

they avoided quite a few clashes the first day they tried them which is a good thing imo

What has got you so upset onlooker?  Is there something special about having race start times at 0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55 other than "that is how we have always done it"?

If (and it is a big if) they could get races off on time then (as duncan idaho says) it would make sense for race times to be adjusted according to whether the race they follow at another course is a 5f Flat or a 3m 4f Chase?

Just pretend you're at a Greyhound track. We've coped with it for years.

Australia and US have been doing it for years. They seem to have coped.

odd 8 mins between races, but now between 2-55 and 4-04 they vary times between 10 and 15 mins.
