Not saying the result is right or wrong, however, even on here we had wildly differing opinions.
By:
Backed the winner and couldn't bail out due to the drift in stewards, all guess work different track, different stewards different result, stuck up 1.5 early no bites.
By:
unlucky jj I thought they'd be closer in the market than that, 2nd went shorter than I expected
By:
Couldn’t access market on phone there was no betting on iPhone honestly thought odds against was crazy price especially in Uk where they hardly ever overturn decision
By:
Much ado about nothing.
The only surprise was that it took so long to confirm. Had it gone the other way you just open up a huge can of worms. You could argue any slight interference wherever it took place could influence a result. The key here was that the second had time to recover. |

Would have more helpful if SKY had shown the head on from 20-30 yards further back from where the interference took place ...but then what do you expect from a non specialist racing channel

Race 2 - 1:50pm
THE CROWNHILL TOP SOIL/EBF 'NATIONAL HUNT' NOVICES' HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) (Qualifier) SHANTOU VOW (IRE) wore earplugs which were removed at the start. An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approaching the final hurdle, when the winner, EDEN DU HOUX (FR), ridden by Tom Scudamore, interfered with MARIO DE PAIL (FR), placed second, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved EDEN DU HOUX (FR)’s placing as MARIO DE PAIL (FR) appeared to lose little momentum as a result of the interference, with the incident occurring approximately 1 furlong out, and although MARIO DE PAIL (FR) had closed to within a short head at the line, EDEN DU HOUX (FR) looked to be idling after pulling a few lengths clear after jumping the final hurdle. In addition, MARIO DE PAIL (FR) appeared to lose more ground with a slow jump at the final flight, which in the Stewards’ opinion was not caused by the interference, and they therefore ordered the placings remained unaltered. The interference was found to be accidental as EDEN DU HOUX (FR) had drifted slightly left-handed on the approach to the final hurdle whilst running greenly, resulting in MARIO DE PAIL (FR) being carried marginally off its intended line. What a load of b0-ll0-x |

Have you ever read such BS?

By:
although MARIO DE PAIL (FR) had closed to within a short head at the line, EDEN DU HOUX (FR) looked to be idling after pulling a few lengths clear after jumping the final hurdle
whoever arrived at this verdict needs to be dismissed because the rules specifically state that no consideration should be given to what the offender is doing that hinders the chances of the offender ie hanging, idling etc |
