One of Lucinda's cowboys. Simply dreadful!

Very poor for a professional...

Horse didn't touch a twig, just a minor twist in the air.

Backers will be disappointed

Remember the other Fox who 'jumped off' one a good few years back?
Report jmdc January 29, 2020 2:27 PM GMT
^ Ice Saint at Fontwell, I was there that day.
Report grayhawk January 29, 2020 2:29 PM GMT
Grin Even " The greatest jockey " said he jumped off

the sport becomes a bigger and bigger joke - when you can only get 2 round out of 5 - it's a lottery - bingo easier

Spot on jmdc. Would I be correct in saying it was a 3 runner affair?
Report tantpis January 29, 2020 2:36 PM GMT
I remember the one from a few years back,it was at Uttoxeter in a hurdle race.I considered it a cert to be placed,it was favourite but drifted badly just before the off, midfield on the far side and definately jumped off,it was so blatant.

That did look very soft looked to be on his way as horse was taking offLaughLaugh

Four stewy, but only three after Sean Fox had jumped off.
Report tantpis January 29, 2020 2:38 PM GMT
Must be another race where it happened,it was ridden by Fox for Lucinda Russell.
Report stewarty b January 29, 2020 2:40 PM GMT
Correct jmdc. I knew there were few runners. Perhaps tantips has his info wrong.
Report shoodacoodadidnt January 29, 2020 2:41 PM GMT
that Fox one was nowhere near a jump off - he was properly disappointed
Report stewarty b January 29, 2020 2:41 PM GMT
Or maybe he's right!
Report CharlieCroker69 January 29, 2020 2:47 PM GMT
no he didnt jump off hes just useless
Report jmdc January 29, 2020 2:57 PM GMT
I got the impression that day that Sean Fox didn't know how to lose the race when he was in front at the last ditch.
Report shoodacoodadidnt January 29, 2020 3:01 PM GMT
when was that? I'd like to look again
Report stewarty b January 29, 2020 3:07 PM GMT
jmdc, can you remember the trainer and price by any chance? (as blatant as you will see I may add)
Report tantpis January 29, 2020 3:07 PM GMT
He definitely jumped off at Uttoxeter watched the a replay several times. The odds on here went from 2.25 to 3.25 a minute before the off,the place odds also jumped up a minute before the off.I backed it for a place and probably would not have taken much notice of the race but for this.It was a low grade handicap hurdle about 2 years ago on a Saturday but cannot remember the Horses name, there was only 8-9 runners and it happened at the first hurdle on the far side.
