Horse didn't touch a twig, just a minor twist in the air.

Backers will be disappointed

Remember the other Fox who 'jumped off' one a good few years back?

the sport becomes a bigger and bigger joke - when you can only get 2 round out of 5 - it's a lottery - bingo easier

Spot on jmdc. Would I be correct in saying it was a 3 runner affair?

I remember the one from a few years back,it was at Uttoxeter in a hurdle race.I considered it a cert to be placed,it was favourite but drifted badly just before the off, midfield on the far side and definately jumped off,it was so blatant.

Four stewy, but only three after Sean Fox had jumped off.

Must be another race where it happened,it was ridden by Fox for Lucinda Russell.

Correct jmdc. I knew there were few runners. Perhaps tantips has his info wrong.

that Fox one was nowhere near a jump off - he was properly disappointed

I got the impression that day that Sean Fox didn't know how to lose the race when he was in front at the last ditch.

jmdc, can you remember the trainer and price by any chance? (as blatant as you will see I may add)

He definitely jumped off at Uttoxeter watched the a replay several times. The odds on here went from 2.25 to 3.25 a minute before the off,the place odds also jumped up a minute before the off.I backed it for a place and probably would not have taken much notice of the race but for this.It was a low grade handicap hurdle about 2 years ago on a Saturday but cannot remember the Horses name, there was only 8-9 runners and it happened at the first hurdle on the far side.
