Impossible 123 the Ryan Moore cyber bully. for several years he relentlessly and exclusively criticises only Ryan Moore. Social media bullies should be outed and condemned.
By:
They won't sack him - that would be admitting a mistake - but they could ease him out by not putting on the first choice.
No reason for him to leave of his own accord. There's nothing obvious for him over here. These days Stoute is nothing compared to Gosden/Appleby. |
By:
Every chance a parting on mutual good terms citing would be used as freelance when possible in the short term and then they will turn to a Oisin Murphy type who is building up alot of international experience....
By:
Dont think sacking him would be admitting a mistake at all.
A few years ago he was mustard, and definately the best jockey out there. But the last couple of years he has certainley lost his edge and has gone severley backwards. Dettori if anything has got better the last couple of years and is at the top of his game currently. |
By:
Always a bit sad when a top pro is on the decline (irrespective of the sport). He is just going through the motions this year for some reason.APO'B's string maybe not vintage this year but Moore's riding has been nowhere near his own high standard. His display at the Derby meeting this year was as bad as you could envisage.
Just my opinion as I've no axe to grind with RLM. |
By:
Still a Great Jockey but his luck has been stinking all Year....Murphy V Moore I would be with Moore all Day long.
By:
For whatever reason his association with Coolmore/AOB has been disappointing over the last couple of years despite the turf "goodies" he was on eg The Gurkha (SJP), Order Of St George (Ascot Cup), Seventh Heaven (F$M), Pink Dogwood (Oaks), etc. I believe a disassociation could be the way forward for both entities.
Moore's no longer a betting proposition; the price of his mount is another negative for me - it does not truly reflect its chance. |
By:
They basically sacked Kinane for being told old, effectively admitted to a mistake with Spencer, got rid of Fallon for reasons which on the face of it had nothing to do with his riding, and,I think,Murtagh officially left of his own accord when it became obvious that Joseph would get the plum rides. What's the fifth variation ?
By:
These days Moore is clearly inadequate when it comes to results ie he does not win races he ought/should have won - he makes too many unnecessary mistakes thro' a sheer lack of jockeyship and professionalism.
By:
My own feeling is that Moore is still a better than average jockey, but I agree that is a come down from being obviously the best which he was some years ago. Not helped by Dettori's slightly surprising revival.
By:
Stage fright?
By:
Too much emphasis on the jockey here imo. Moore doesn't ride for Gosden, simple as.
By:
agreed swift-tuttle
By:
Think Colin Keane would be a great way to go for Coolmore - Young hungry for it - nearly keeping pace with Donnacha for the Irish championship despite not having the near the same quality horses to ride.
By:
If I’m backing one from the yard I think, at the moment, I’d prefer to have Donnacha on board rather than Ryan..
Out of interest can anyone recall the last time we heard one of the racing media refer to Ryan as being the greatest jockey in the world? Used to be a phrase that was wheeled out again and again, but I don’t seem to have heard it for quite some time now.. |
By:
Would agree with the above, prefer Donnacha on, it’s not longer a bad thing to have him booked imo.
As for best rider that’s got to be Frankie. Constantly right place right time, yes went too early in the Arc but I’d much rather see that than the bafoon on Sea of Class the year before |
By:
A possible option has to be 1 more year of Donnacha and then Murphy imo.
By:
Ana O’Brien used over the transition?

Or Khadijah, remember her? Her 1st ride in public was a winner.

See impossible 123 has gone in again with his unceasing criticism/bullying of Ryan Moore. Despite all the current talk regarding social media bullying he is unrelenting, surprised the moderators have not got involved.
By:
Think the general opinion now is moore is more likely to be a liability rather than an asset on a horse's back
By:
has being poor of late and how can they keep him if he is no longer up to the job
By:
"Moore doesn't ride for Gosden"
Gosden ain't stupid. He'd rather have Havlin than Moore - the former tries the latter could not give a damn. |
By:
He`s back again. Unbelievable.

See impossible 123 has gone in again with his unceasing criticism/bullying of Ryan Moore. Despite all the current talk regarding social media bullying he is unrelenting, surprised the moderators have not got involved Lol I think this is a bit silly. He's started a thread saying he doesnt think Ryan Moore is much good anymore. I think that's probably allowed on a racing forum. |
By:
As long as he keeps riding to orders several more years
By:
layingisthewayforward
Someone who criticises the same person relentlessly and incessantly for several years and never anyone else over and over again in my book is bullying and I will always speak out against bullies. |
By:
What do you make of Moore’s decline though Feltfair?
By:
BornToWin
I don`t share the "decline" view. Ballydoyle do not have the long list of Group 1 horses that they usually have. Frankie was in a slump until John Gosden saved his career with a procession of top class horses, was he in decline. I don`t think so. Similarly I don`t think Tom Queally is in decline, since Frankel he just hasn`t had the opportunities. Overall, constant criticism of jockeys I don`t agree with, I base all my opinions/selections on horses performance and if good enough all professional jockeys are capable of delivering a win. |
By:
Feltfair you're basically saying that jockeys are all good so therefore if a horse loses it's the horses' fault. Would that be right? While of course there are occasions when constant slagging can be ott, constant defending blatant cheating or poor rides is also wrong and only serves one purpose. Its also daft to think that jockeys don't make any difference. We see day after day bad jockeys costing a horse, a horse who is good enough to win.
By:
We`ve had this conversation before, lets agree to disagree.
By:
I don`t say it`s the horses fault if it loses I just think that on any given day the best horse inevitably wins given handicap mark, draw, trip, going etc irrespective of who is riding it.
By:
^^^ in other words,Ryan Moore is neither a help/hinderence to a horse's chances.
Like all pro jockeys. |
By:
Zenyatta was such a b!tch. Never helped Mike Smith one bit.
By:
These stats are UK only Turf and AW. The a/e is the important stat as it takes into account how a horse ran against market expectations
Moore's strike rate from 2013 to 2017 was in excess of 20% and in 2017 it hit 24% with an ae ranging from .83 to 1 2018 strike rate 18% ae .76 2019 strike rate 16% ae .71 The man is in decline FACT |
By:
mr combustible - I like your post
and SR should only ever be combined with SP to get a significant interpretation? |
By:
He finished 10th on Magic Wand way behind Ill Paradiso another AOB's. It's becoming a common occurrence for him to finish behind another runner of AOB.
The disassociation is near, I believe. |
By:
Ryan Moore can only do 8-6 absolute minimum which is why he rode Magic Wand. Il Paradiso carried 8-4 which is why Wayne Lordan had the ride.He can do 8-0 minimum.
Another example of impossible 123 having a go at Ryan Moore and showing his lack of racing knowledge. |
