Just arrived at the track, going will be bottomless. Hopefully the weather will limit the number of single mums pushing multi-coloured toddlers round in prams.

Apparently Bombero(2.15)is not just here for the scenery but having missed the big prices will just watch with interest.

Think that Just Once in receipt of nearly 1 1/2 stone on that ground may give it a race.

Anybody who went today can get in free for Betfair chase day I think that’s very fair of the racecourse.

My experience of haydock is that the punters will be too pissed to:
a) realise there were only 3 races and 3 abandoned
b) remember that they went to this meeting and are eligible for the offer.

so a win win for all concerned.

You seem to be very clued up on Haydock spyker however I still think it was a very fair gesture by the racecourse ,but as I say you seem to know the score about the place so all those pissed up punters won’t remember.

By the way there were 4 abandoned races

It is a fair gesture and might shut up those who always post the same crap about courses waiting until they don't have to refund to abandon  maybe in the 'good old days' but today most wouldn't take that anymore and moan about it on twatter.

I think it’s a fair gesture to those who fancy seeing a grade one chase for free.
