What's going on with Betfair sportsbook

Trying to get some footy bets on the sportsbook and couldn't even load the page. Fine on mobile but was trying to use desktop.
Anyone else had this problem?

When I press the place bets box I get a message

Maximum Stake Exceeded

Any ideas
