Just about to start a similar ...

'It's all happening today' - Thread
-----------------

You soiled yours though - by ending it with  - "rancid game"
Report jackkat August 20, 2019 7:12 PM BST
Why is rancid not a allowed word ?

Come Racing.....

Not sure Rancid relates to human errors

Jock must have been misinformed of his weight
Wrong horse called can happen, they’re only human

Wrong time information in Ireland is a new one - has this happened before?

The choice of the word -  "rancid" ... intimates - being deliberate, or pre-planned.

Rather than - Incompetent errors - in the case of the Judge, the Starter, and the missing weight-cloth.

Incompetence or skulduggery, the game is f**ked to b*ggery.

Top3man

Coincidentally Noel Meade had one disqualified many years ago because the race set off early, also in England in the late 70s early 80s a small trainer had one declared void that was only a few seconds early.

It was rather a strange day at "the office".
Report jackkat August 20, 2019 7:33 PM BST

Yes but put it all into context, the only horse to have ran in a 2000gs won the last race at 20/1 off a mark of 45! Just to prove that the form always works out in the end!Laugh

Impressed with his Newbury maiden win stewarts and it didn’t look a strong Guineas that year with the exception on Camelot even so it was a bad bet maiden to classic .
