Not sure Rancid relates to human errors

Jock must have been misinformed of his weight
Wrong horse called can happen, they’re only human

Wrong time information in Ireland is a new one - has this happened before?

The choice of the word -  "rancid" ... intimates - being deliberate, or pre-planned.

Rather than - Incompetent errors - in the case of the Judge, the Starter, and the missing weight-cloth.

Coincidentally Noel Meade had one disqualified many years ago because the race set off early, also in England in the late 70s early 80s a small trainer had one declared void that was only a few seconds early.

Yes but put it all into context, the only horse to have ran in a 2000gs won the last race at 20/1 off a mark of 45! Just to prove that the form always works out in the end!Laugh

Impressed with his Newbury maiden win stewarts and it didn’t look a strong Guineas that year with the exception on Camelot even so it was a bad bet maiden to classic .
