Poor record again last month with his 3.5 or under hosses.

Having another go in the 7.15 with a 7/4 poke he advertised at 9/4.

Still throwing 2/3 darts a day at the board.

Seems like a nice enough guy but these pretendy prices are simply unobtainable.

70 points in profit allegedly but BSP p/l would be more of a true reflection for mere mortals.

Capla Huntress opened up 10/1 cut very early to 7's, plenty of 6's & 5's before being cut through the evening, by morning best price was 9/4, Taylor says "she opened at some ridiculous prices on Wednesday afternoon " I wouldn't say 6 or 7/1 was ridiculous but then he's trying to justify getting on at prohibitive odds I suppose.

Another couple of losers today. Take the 33/1 June winner out of the equation and stats look very poor - especially as they're ficticious prices. Getting late in the year to turn it round now. Where have all the big priced winners gone Hugh?

Think the early betting markets have changed lots more of the 'triers' being shorter early thus not looking obvious value, looks harder than it used to be unless you can back day before with BOG.

that's my last column of the year, next one from me on Sat Jan 4th. By some way the worst of my 11 years at ATR with profit of just under 100pts, hopefully do better next year

Shame he doesn't say why this happened this year? Obviously he didn't pick enough winners (or enough big priced winners didn't come in) but did something fundamentally change in the market or was it just a "blip" year? I'd be interest to know his thoughts.

he's almost certainly doing nothing differently...only time will tell whether it's a blip or not

He is quite awful. Thousands of points ahead over 11 years of betting. Everyone should stop following him immediately. If Leif says he is bad and that the prices are impossible to obtain it must be true.

His inside contacts are possibly drying up. Or it's a deliberate effort to put people away through unobtainable odds and non-triers. It only takes a couple of big priced ("lucky")winners to skew performance. A complete breakdown of his overall record would no doubt reveal that getting the advised lofty "longshot" odds is the be all for his implied profits. A new challenge should surely be looked at. How about moving away from bookies EP to challenge liquid markets on here? Even if he didn't achieve the hundreds of profits he does via the EP bookie nonsense, any success would carry far more weight.

A shrewd, knowledgeable, informed assessment.

Exactly. I don't know why he has never said, selection is a bet above this price and a lay below this price, esp now everyone can avail themselves to 2% commission if they want.

because he wont be able to quote mythical early bookmakers prices to massively exaggerate his pretend profits. the guy is the bookmakers friend not the punters. sooner hes finished the better, total parasite.

A quite brilliant tipster as the last 11 years have proved. Just the 12-1 winner today.

!2-1 and 11-1 were readily available for a few seconds which is as long as it should take if you are taking your job seriously.
