Bad year - so far.

I was obviously replying to AFTERTHOUGHT who said Taylor had done the lot.
Silly Shafter. |

McCoy Carp pointed out on a different thread the other day Hugh wasn't having a year that so far has been up to his usual standards, and a perusal of past annual performances showed Hugh could be in danger of having his worst year profit-wise since he started tipping on the ATR site.
However, plenty of time left this year to turn it around and I couldn't help but notice the other day that Hugh was swinging for the fences with 2pts on a 25-1 poke! ![]() Are we going to be seeing more of the same from Hugh in the coming weeks? |
By:
I wondered that, another 2pt win went down yesterday & only selection today, Lady Dauphin just been beat.

a bad year is due sometime

They guy has a knack of putting a curse on anything he tips that is 3.5 or lower, or at least what I can see of this year.
His one and only 'roughie' was that one at Ascot, The Grand Visir that was supposedly 33/1 although no-one could find any better than 16/1, other than Fraudy but that goes without saying. Saying that, Fraudy follows so many tipsterers if you believe him that he must be doing his squirrels. Hugh gets paid whatever he puts up and with his part owned Raising Sand winning a 100k h'cap at Ascot he couldn't give a flying f@rt about the plebs ![]() |

Not by any means comparing myself with Hugh but I am having my worst year ever .....
It happens in this game but I don't like it as I am sure he doesn't!!! |
By:
What has gone wrong this year? Is his/your strike rate down on previous years or is the average price down? As leif said, seems like he's only hit one really big priced winner - normally he would have a few of those. I'm still trying to recover from a disatrous March/April myself.

Another couple of losers yesterday.

And today.

Gracie doing his peenuts..

Connections sick of trying to lay a horse out for a go and Hugh mullering the price for them?
By:
-14.5 points for hosses advertised @ 3.5 or under.
+33 points " " advertised @ either 4 or 4.5 |
By:
Sir Hugh +92 for 2019 to end of August and the knives are out
![]() |
By:
U would never be at +92,if u backed his selections
By:
Plus u would be restricted to £0.57 per bet.

zzzzzzz...discussion had 9 yrs ago
By:
If it was that easy, everybody would just play his selections and retire.
By:
yes but that discussion has been had a million times on here and everyone knows that...was merely correcting the impression that HT is stinking the place out this year..he isnt
By:
Yes,agree with that.
By:
I disagree - by his standards, very poor. Another 2 losers, Spencer special there.
By:
..another one at the advertised 3/1 mullered. Not his forte this year.
By:
1 loser, 1 non runner.
By:
At least Shuggy's still showing mythical profits. Whereas the mugs following him blindly(after the price crash) are trailing badly. gracie must be near the wonga loan stage..
By:
1 out of 3. Slight profit if you got 365's 9/4.
By:
gracie only managed 7/4. Still no winning day for donkeys. 2nd loan already on the mind..

JohnGrace thanks you for your thoughts, and sends the following missive, replete with his words of wisdom and early Xmas message.
"Must sign off until the King George now as we are up at 3.00am. I beg all of my disciples - please, please try to find some pleasure in truth and love or the Good Lord in the next few days for what you do and say on this awful forum is harming you, your lives and those around you (especially Kemo Sabe). I do hope baby jesus won't be angry with people being logged in the day before his birthday. Perhaps you could ask betfair to shut down over next christmas to remove the temptation." W.A.C. ![]() |

Non runner and two more losers. Come on Hugh, this really is getting painful now
![]() |
By:
Certainly having a poor run but you've got to admire his overall results.
By:
Think he admitted on one of his vidoes that he has gone 50 losers in a row before. It happens to all of us at some point, not nice but you have to keep going and hopefully come out the other side with your betting bank still intact.

Hugh recorded a loss of -16.25 for September leaving his profit for this year at 76 points.
By:
To be fair they published September's loss before the month was even over! Nice winner yesterday. I wonder if he is about to go on a run?
By:
Maybe after breakfast
