If you switch your WiFi off on your phone (so that you’re using your own data)then you can place bets just fine. No need for vpn’s then.

I think that is precisely the reason you can't play. You have to have a spanish address to join the spanish poker sites, so I don't think that p2p betting would be any different.
I thought is was money laundering but TAX is always something to think about.
