The Irish Oaks: Iridessa (Lordan) and Pink Dogwood (Moore) vs Star Catcher (Dettori) and Fleeting (Donnacha) - the protagonists of Pretty Polly vs Ribblesdale; Donnacha normally chooses his brother's (Iridessa) charge over his dad's (Fleeting). Could that be significant?

Pink Dogwood and Iridessa are on the drift, with money for Fleeting; lightning striking twice two weeks running post Ten Sovereigns?
Report Lee Roady July 20, 2019 1:40 PM BST
We can assume nothing - that Moore is on the best of A O Brien's fillies? Don't know - it depends on what "the lads" want.
Report impossible123 July 20, 2019 4:09 PM BST
I hope Donnacha will make the difference.

Backing both of Becketts each way.
Report sparrow July 20, 2019 4:39 PM BST
Might only be a split screen to watch with Market Rasen clashing all the time.
Report acey deucy July 20, 2019 4:41 PM BST
A split screen is the least of my worries sparrow.Laugh
Report roggrain July 20, 2019 4:43 PM BST
Group 2 at the Curragh,no commentary, split screen with an ffng jumps race in the middle of summer.

Why aren't there separate feeds?
Report mrcombustible July 20, 2019 4:43 PM BST
Yes a chase at MR gets preference over a G2 so I guess the class 4 handicap chase at 5.05 will get preference over the G1 Oaks with lots of British runners. Racing TV needs two channels
Report impossible123 July 20, 2019 4:45 PM BST
The annoying thing is that greasy prat Lynch giving the mechanics of the race.
Report impossible123 July 20, 2019 4:50 PM BST
Iridessa is friendless an dout to 6 here; she was 9/4 fav antepost.
Report FOYLESWAR July 20, 2019 5:00 PM BST
looks a tricky race and am  taking on the front 4 in the market with  peach tree 50 on here ,search for a song 48 and trethias 17 on here a £10  win on each
Report sparrow July 20, 2019 5:03 PM BST
Backed Fleeting.

Report wondersobright July 20, 2019 5:17 PM BST
you'd think the jockeys would learn how to ride that round course @ the curragh
fkin woeful moore, lordan et al
Report impossible123 July 20, 2019 5:17 PM BST
The jockey won the race (again); Dettori the best jockey around.
Report granitjack July 20, 2019 5:17 PM BST
Moore owned by Frankie yet again Blush
Report mrcombustible July 20, 2019 5:18 PM BST

the only thing that surprises me is that the lads appear to be standing for it

surely cannot be a long term thing this

Report sparrow July 20, 2019 5:19 PM BST
Frankie is riding better than ever this year.
Report De_man July 20, 2019 5:21 PM BST
The Greatest rode them to sleep lol Moore was his usual Frank Spencer but PD not gone on and doubt win again but Donnacha was very poor eh Fleeting an unlucky horse the jocks its had up still progressing thou
Report impossible123 July 20, 2019 5:22 PM BST
Frankie is equivalent to Peter Shilton when the former "helped" Notts Forest to win the League and European Cup single handedly.

If it was me I’d be getting Oisin in ASAP.....Moore is not even in the top 15 jockeys i would say in the UK....let alone Ireland.....if not worse than that.

Report impossible123 July 20, 2019 5:26 PM BST
If any consolation for backers of Fleeting she was closer to Star Catcher her conqueror in the Ribblesdale this time. But, Dettori won the race.
Report De_man July 20, 2019 5:30 PM BST
He just keeps it simple eh sit in the van or dictate eh not rocket science eh Frank Spencer school of hard knocks plain idiotic eh hold up and hope for luck.Frankie takes this out of the equation mostly and its why he s the best. Why compicate things when on the better horses.Hope we see the back of sourpuss soon ..
Report De_man July 20, 2019 5:31 PM BST
Fleeting shoulda won again tbf except for Frankie masterclass
Report A_T July 20, 2019 5:37 PM BST
Dettori's judgement of pace is second to none
Report sparrow July 20, 2019 5:43 PM BST
I backed Fleeting but no real complaints.
Report impossible123 July 20, 2019 5:49 PM BST
No worries...Fleeting may go for the Yorkshire Oaks where she may get stuffed (again) by Mehdaayih another starlet of Gosden; Pink Dogwood will probably stay at home or go to France. Just hope Moore is not on the former.

Please stop bullying Bungle.
Report granitjack July 20, 2019 7:25 PM BST
The ironic thing is the one who is ‘bullying’ is you if anybody.....
Report FELTFAIR July 20, 2019 7:28 PM BST
When someone who criticises the same person over and over again to the exclusion of everyone else for over three years it is bullying as far as I am concerned and I will always oppose bullies.
Report granitjack July 20, 2019 7:53 PM BST
But you are doing exactly the same are you not? And name calling to boot!!
Report FELTFAIR July 20, 2019 7:59 PM BST
No I am opposing a bully as I have done all my life. I did not name him Bungle, it was another forumite but it seemed appropriate at the time. If you are happy to support a bully then so be it.
