Funny but as much as I have criticised Moore on a couple Dettori has done exactly the samecin the last today and there hasn't been a criticism, because of his winners I assume.

I was being serious when I said it was hard to see him messing up on Hermosa.
The other two I wouldn't touch. He is 0-2 on them so far. Japan has been a hold up ride and he represents a Derby where they finished in a heap. He is also up against at least two potential improvers. Ten Sovereigns looked a very well grown 2yo and initially created a big impression but the last two performances? Nothing to suggest that it was anything but an ordinary Guineas. I doubt either horse has as much in hand as the betting suggests. Those who have gone in at short prices will be praying he delivers. Another for Dettori and it might be game over. |

Another strange ride from Moore. He held a good position soon after the off; then dropped back, ended up in a pocket with 2f to run. How'll he explain that to connections?
Steering job next????????? P45 beckons if another Fleeting and/or Ten Sovereigns ride, I'd think. |

TS was a strange ride for me. They virtually made the running with him in the Guineas over a trip they weren’t sure he’d stay. He ran well especially considering the ground looked loose the far side. After the race connections weren’t sure he stayed. So back over 6, they held him up? Why? FWIW, I think he’s a miler who was inconvenienced by loose ground and having to make the running at Newmarket.
