Unusual for a Sunday - can't blame weight of numbers on site now.
They're probably just finalizing things so they can do a really good job of fecking Ascot up.
Can get bets on from 3:30 onwards but might be risky - can you be sure you're on?

Why don't they do their "Maintenance Work" very early in the morning like they used to? Not in the middle of a days racing

nobody bodey, nobody takes responsibility, nobody explains to exchange users what has gone wrong, nobody tells users what they are doing to put it right, and nobody tells us what they plan to do to stop it happening again and again. Paddy Power own the company, they should take responsibility, but they just stay silent.
I wanted to do Material girl to come in the first 4, had to use sportsbook which only does 3 places and it came 4th, I should have known it was a bad omen.

They do promise to give a full report of what the problems were ease, but I have never seen one yet
why is it always the exchange,sportsbook and all arcades still available,betfair on the fiddle to many 1.01
Think it's a bad idea to use the sportsbook when the exchange is down. They don't deserve to still get custom for letting it crash. And it's rubbish.

When Betfair fist started they only had the exchange which worked perfectly, now they have added so much crap to the site the exchange seems to be the only thing suffering,
Why don't they put all the other rubbish on another platform/site and run the exchange separately, maybe they won't get any problems that way.

I was one of the first on Betfair, and I can say, without reserve, that Betfair was better then.

Thank-goodness I did not have any open-position. And, commiseration to those that have. This regular crashes is unacceptable, and I hope someone will initiate legal proceedings against 'Betfair' to recoup financial losses as a result.

Actually, that is a point, as gambling debts are now legally enforceable betfair should make strenuous efforts to allow customers to lay off their bets before the off otherwise it could be considered stealing.

As usual when there is a crash, i went over to the purple one as my small bets can usually get on. I thought there was a definite increase in liquidity there compared with previous crashes, so maybe Betfair's poor service is beginning to encourage others to go purple.
these can't be 'crashes'. been going on for years, if it happened once in business you'd have it sorted asap or someone would be sacked. this is more 'down for maintenance - exchange only'.

I'd expect £60 @ 2.2 to return £72 - you only ever see your profit on the Exch, the stake just exists as exposure and isn't returned like a SB stake in your winnings - what am I missing?
