why is Chester on here now?
chester wanted a channel "to showcase" them
delusional imo that (a) chester is actually something to showcase & (b) that ATR would be able to do that even if it was

It really is quite pathetic. Catering for the MUG punter who's not interested in anything but getting a bet on last minute on anything anywhere.
always has been . a channel to watch a race, not a channel to watch horse racing

Yes more adverts and more Sha Tin/Happy Valley racing tar.
must be a fair chance that sha tin and happy valley have a massive audience outside the uk.
it is what it is, not a stand alone channel but part of a tv package. its still early days imo but will be purely down to finances which direction it goes.

Tylicki just part of the conveyor belt of retired jocks. To me they all bang average at best.If viewers are deserting Sky for ITV who is left watching? I can't see Racing picking up many casual viewers. Even poor adverts need some sort of audience. What is the point of Sky throwing money at something if the output is so poor they are driving people away? The only excuse they have is the fixture list and that obviously doesn't include the likes of Sha Tin.Since the movement of Irish Racing the coverage on both channels is now considerably worse than what it was before the change. A case of be very careful what you wish for.
Totally agree especially with the last part. ATR you could cope with being worse as it was terrible already. But RTV has grown considerably worse since taking on the Irish coverage. Not so much in terms of the Irish coverage itself but the split screens. They also seemed to have taken the approach with the ‘studio team’ rather than roving reporters around each track which started before the new launch....
And don’t even get me started on The Friday Club.....The Betting Lab was a million times better.
