No problem here.
Never watched ITV since Chapman /Fitzgerald era, don't watch ATR because of the Chapman /Fitzgerald era. Happy with RUK and only bet on their races now. |

Will we ever uncover an ex-jock that will stand there and criticise bad rides whilst the pundits stand there and squirm, unlike say football you'd never see it.

No Ascot for you now then, Mike?

People are saying that Racing TV is as bad as Sky Racing.
Phuck me, I give up! |

In fairness the 2 channels do have something in common - Harry Fecking redknapp!

I heard the Bedford Fox droning on the other day. He is like Father Stone from Fr Ted

Before the transfer, Vance and RTV stated that there would be far more studio input to cope with the glut of meetings. In the meantime, Imi and Sky Sports made it their policy to include as many presenters and pundits at the meetings they covered, especially the prestige ones, which they cover at the expense of everything else. Twice this afternoon, we were waiting for a betting show at Fontwell, only to be thwarted by a blonde bimbo ysttering away about the recent race at Chester. Fontwell only hit the screens as the race started. Anyone who wants to bet on their product is clearly under an illusion - they are not welcome. Of course, they no longer ask for emails and tweets, so that Imi can run his filthy channel unhindered from his palace in the Sky. He clearly is responsible for a deplorable outfit!

i would pack the game in if forced to watch this channel every day
What do you mean 'forced' - matron won't give you the remote in the nursing home? Obviously you know that if you have a bet on here or the bookies then you can watch the race online and miss the crap....which brings me on to: Happy with RUK and only bet on their races now. Obviously you know that if you have a bet on here or the bookies then you can watch the race online and miss the crap? Or. and get this, you could just turn over when the race is off/about to be off or even employ the mute button then you can stop living in the 1950's........... |

What on earth is that supposed to mean? Errrrr that he could turn over the channel at the start of the race (without even leaving his chair) or have the channel on but turn the sound off and then he isn't limiting his bets to those on the tv channel that he pays for which in this day and age is a ridiculous reason for not betting, aint 'modern' tech great? Even though everything I've said is bleeding obvious I do hope that helps. |

Nothing you have spouted makes any real sense at all. All that is happening here is that some forum members are complaining about the deteriorating quality of the channels they subscribe to. Having watched TV in the 1950s I fail to see what the current situation has to do with that experience but maybe you had a different experience in your 1950s viewing! |
