I've watched the race and head on 5 or 6 times, it is an absolutely disgraceful decision to amend the result. It truly does beggar belief that happened.

that surely must have finished a few people off - must have been massive 1.01 and seen 300 to 500's on kylukey when photo was opened. Crazy decision - worst ive seen.

I never bet in Stewards because years ago at Newmarket where the horse that finished second was murdered and I backed it to get the race and they let the result stand.

Never again you just can not trust them to get it right.

I really feel sorry for the punters who lost there money you could put you off the game forever when that sort of thing happens.

the problem is george and it applies to most..

photo backers can miss things that arnt blatant and bet as if nothing untoward.

290 was the biggest price I got, but it may have been bigger at one stage

I'm a Chelmsford steward so all I do is wait until the race finishes, my mate is on the phone. I know that following the photo the steward's enquiry will follow I only need a few seconds for my mate to bet on the second horse and lay the winner.. from what I can see I made 15K on the race!

Trainer of original winner considering an appeal. He certainly should do. Horses would be thrown out every day by these stewards.

Just seen the head on for the first time. Absolutely ludicrous decision. Pretty sure Mcglone was part of a ludicrous decision at Wolver a year or so ago as well. Questions really need to be asked as it makes no sense at all. Hurricane was clear of the other horse and moved very very marginally off a straight line when the jockey was correcting it from going the other way. They do not race in straight lines and you'd be extremely hard pushed to suggest he caused interference. Stewards trying to be too clever unfortunately.

The 2nd momentarily stopped riding because he was behind the winner and because another horse was coming over on him. That shouldn't be the responsibility of the winning jockey. If you are clear it shouldn't be seen as interference. Hopefully Hoad appeals as it's virtually guaranteed to be overturned. No use to punters on here admittedly.

I layed Kyllukey resulting in a couple of hundred pounds loss. If this is subsequently overturned, as it should be,will I be reimbursed or does the decision on the day stand.First time on here and disgusted at the stewards decision on the day after seeing the head on numerous times.

Decision on the day counts for betting purposes. You could not have it any other way.
