Bit of a long shot, but does anyone on here use the Zello mobile app to discuss racing?
To those unfamiliar, it's a forum for speech only, much much quicker than typing (it's real time).
There are specialist hobby channels on Zello where the conversations can get very heated, funny, bizarre. I've had a few chats with backers on there, in generic channels. Had some funny and insightful exchanges ! Just wondered if anybody else have been on there that's all.

Remember a guy years ago wanted us all to join a video conference thingy to discuss the racing as it happened through the day and we could look at each others ugly mugs, before during and afterwards. Don't recall him getting any response either.
Some of us are getting a bit long in the touth to understand how to work this new techie stuff, and think an app is something at the beginning of a book! Just watch Harry Rednapp and the others trying to get some voice activated thingy to work on TV the other night, was quite hilarious trying to get this thing to tell them a good recipe for scones! Kept telling them how to cook a curry, thought that old eastenders bird was going to chuck it out of the window! Most of us have just got used to using this black box computer thingy, hope that helps, sure some young pup dodging school will come along in a minute to say its a great idea!

This sounds right up johngrace's street, as I assume that the platform does not allow for the poasting of his much hated cartoons?
I know what you mean Stewart's rise. I'm very bad with tech stuff. The app is something on your phone. It's for 'groups' of say 20 people.
Zello is not really something that you 'get into' as such, it's really just a button that you press on your phone to talk to someone about an certain subject i.e The channel that you have happened to be in. I won't be surprised if somebody starts a racing channel on there in a bit,the Zello thing is definitely growing. There are some real characters and of course, swearing is completely allowed.
