No read your post. You clearly state the GC has already been run before Sat "as it would be flat as a pancake"Currently GC is FRIDAY so your first line suggest Sat.Do the Maths.

I don't see what the issue is here other than you fundamentally lacking I.Q., and wanting to pick a fight to cover that lack of intelligence.
anyone with any brains can clearly see that in my orginal post I was clearly suggesting that the final day, (ie moving the weds to a Saturday) would be flat as a pancake if the gold cup had already been run, on the Friday as it normally is. I don't know what you are trying to infer, honestly. anyway another goon moves dangerously close to the block list. |

shoving the days along feels better from a racing perspective but i think it might cause a much bigger ticketing and hospitality issue than just switching weds to saturday

"if tomorrow is cancelled they should move it to Thursday,Thursdays card to Friday, and so on,"
Where does that suggest the GC will have been run on FRiday? lewisham you clearly are entering goon status. |
|
By:
The course also said if racing moved to Saturday
Catering would be affected Presumably there talking Hospitality Where cateries have prior obligations at other courses on Saturday I assume the main bars would still operate ![]() |

sq ... what he means is is if they move the weds card to sat, so after the gold cup day it would be a flat atmosphere for the moved day, it makes sense to me

nice to see elise has the intelligence to understand.

Dont really think so elise. He /she clearly states"if tomorrow is cancelled they should move it to Thursday,Thursdays card to Friday, and so on"
Tomorrow is Wed hence Fridays card moves to Sat in his/her post.just admitt a mistake . |

FFS will you guys just stick to FACTS..........if tomorrow is moved to Saturday......it is within the rules...END OF!!!! Even the BHA could not sanction juggling the remainder of the meeting to move Friday to accomodate tommorow and move Friday to Saturday. The rules do not allow it..........................be grateful that they are at least thinking of saving tomorrow?

What if they have to abandon Saturday?
They should do what they did in 2008 |
|
By:
don't no if your suggesting just moving gold cup itself, but its run on different course to wedensday,s card, if they move wed card to sat can they return to wed course after running thurs, fri on different track, logistically etc
|
|
By:
they should just abandon the meeting till june when the weathers nicer
