Yep, read that be is.. But in an interview, the plan is to win this then go to chelt, they have no jock for chelt as biddick has another ride, but Joe was impressed with the ride he gave it here last time they decided to let him ride it again.

biddick cert to be on cad du berlais if it runs, joe always ultra confident about his horses , maybe this is the excuse if it gets beat plus road to rome has always had fitness on his side in the hunter chases it won, to me it has a favs chance but upswing ew looks the bet must improve for its last run in a much warmer hunter chase

20 years ago hunter chases were such a money spinner with huge % of favourites winning with really good horses gaining multiple wins

I'm really only a layer but even I thought that was a good thing and backed it to win night before @ 11/10..wasn't hard to find

Anyone have any long term stats on the success of favourites in Hunter Chases? I would expect there to be a high percentage of winners but would you show a profit?

Get the facts right if you're going to have a go, I said it should be fav... As it happened it went off around 4/7 fav from 6/5..
I thought it would lead, it was held up, but that's the way it goes.

Tea Clipper Koi?

Dunno what's happened to Koi. You have to go back to October 2021 since the last win and has been a beaten fav six times since then . So while top rated ,I wouldn't be lumping on at 5's on. Miss Seagreen hasn't run since March but did win at Cheltenham beating Sine Nomine that won at Wetherby on Saturday. Shang Tang doesn't look like the winner based on the last run but may come on for that and the other two don't look good enough.
If forced at the prices I'd lay Tea Clipper or back Miss Seagreen ew -but one I'd be happy to watch. Good luck to anyone playing.

Sorted out pre race that one!

Winner was allowed to set a ridiculously slow pace with the jockey on Tea Clipper making no effort to inject any pace into the race at any time, the whole field gave the winner an absolute freebie. I don't play in these races but its about time they were binned. And if they must have them? Put them all on one card and they most certainly shouldn't be included as part of a Tote bet like the Placepot. Same for Amateur races on the Flat.
