Commodore 64 ,you are under the radar and the software can not pick up the bet until it is placed and matchedLaugh

Bob Martin tablets are the best.

Don't some courses still ban/confiscate tablets/iPads?

Personally I think the OP would be better off with a cheap Android smartphone.  He needn't ever use it as phone, or for anything other than Betfair - just think of it as a very small tablet.

The BF app looks no better on tablet than it does on a phone, in my opinion.

If he must have a tablet - I love my iPad mini (but for things other than BF, for that I'm happy with the phone).

You can't place bets @ BSP on a phone, might not be a problem for some but it is for me.

@McCoy Carp

"You can't place bets @ BSP on a phone"

Not be be rude, but that's simply not true - I do that every day.

What is true (unless I haven't found the option yet) is you can't place BSP bets with a limit on the phone, but I don't think I've placed more than a half-dozen of those in the 8+ years I've been on here.

Unless this a wind up its next to "open bets" above back and lay.
Report McCoy Carp • February 4, 2019 9:39 PM GMT
No, it's not a wind up. I've just clicked on 1.50 Market Rasen tomorrow on my iphone. There's a back and lay option but no option to back @ BSP. Have I got to click something somewhere, to bring the BSP up like you do on the market on my laptop?

Ok, I clicked on live video which was above back and lay and NOW open bets has appeared and to the left of that is as IMS says BSP. Many thanks.

@McCoy Carp - I was going to ask "why are you clicking on live video?" but now I get why you didn't see SP.

That page is the one from "Next Races" that only shows the Win market (and you're right no SP option) for each race.

I never bet from there - click on any runner and it takes you to (what I think of as) the 'proper' market view which has Win/Place/TBP/etc markets in tabs - and that has a big "BSP" button between the 'pin' icon and 'Open Bets'
