Got into all sorts of trouble and then virtually pulled the horse up.
Fine if the horse had a problem, not so fine if the jock just decides not to bother. Stewards need to do their job.
They also need to ask the question about the favourite who was the probably the best backed horse of the day but was beaten at halfway. Nothing to do with being on the front end as the winner was similarly positioned and appears to have suddenly found a stone.
