Just back from backing Flying Dragon at 9/4. By no means a 2 or 3 horse race with some 'unknowns' in the field but what form there is on show....well, I think this beast has the best. Only one run like the Fav but in a 'better' race (bearing in mind they have higher prize money in France) and the fifth in that one race has come out and won a similar race. As for the Fav, it's form is hardly awe inspiring but it was first time out and few have came out again to compare.
In summing up, I think I have the value price here and Tom doesn't let me down often if my money is on his beast. Gl/all if involved.
The form of this race might be worth keeping an eye on imo. That said I could have easily greened up at odds on before the race. Perhaps it's something I should consider if I can beat the odds more than 50% of the time.
I know of at least two that will have been all green before the off. Something that's not in my DNA but having well bagged the odds there I should at least consider covering my stake.
