A couple of outsiders which will probably have no chance at all!

But have caught my very dodgy eyes!
4.20 Chepstow
Corporal Maddox  getting long in the tooth now at 11 yo and has ran 2 pretty poor races recently at this course but they have been his only turf runs since winning on this card last year when rated 58 over 7fs on Good ground, strangely enough had ran down the field btn 8 lengths over C/D just 4 days before! Difference was the draws, drawn 10 when winning and 4 when well btn. Seems to have a habit of running well in late July/August, since being with Harris has won on 24/8/13, 4th on 25/8/14,Won on 31/7/16, Won on 28/8/17 two of those wins over C/D. Unfortunately has got a low draw again today which will probably scupper his chances, but looking closer at the race only Bond Angel of the fancied horses is drawn high, also much shorter in the betting horses are drawn in 1-5-6.
Racing post quote says-"Won a division of this race last year but recent C&D form is substandard." What they don't say is that he was drawn 1 in both those races and led the 1st race to 2fs out, and raced alone in 2nd.
This is his lowest mark on turf and as said won from 58 last year and 75 in 2016. Probert is one of the few jockeys to show a profit riding regularly for harris +£35 lsp. Harris has took the hood off today 1st time for ages but has won races running in just pieces.
Anyway if he does bomb out, would think Spearings horse drawn in 6 would go close from just a 3lb higher mark than when winning a similar race over C/D last time a race franked by the 2nd/3rd.
4.55 Chepstow.
Secret Glance   Remember this being the subject of a monster gamble at Southwell back in March which totally came unstuck after horse got hampered early on. Adrian Wintle trains this one, i believe he is the nephew of David Wintle who loved a punt, anyway recently young Adrian has had 3 winners in July/August from just 15 runners a 20% SR. His last runner Kenstone won easily here in a C4 mark 79 over 1m, Gold Hunter won a C4 over 6fs here in July from 74 over 6fs, also Three C's was 4th btn just over 2 lengths behind Captain Sedgwick(Spearings runner in 1st division) from 45 before hacking home by 7 lengths at Lingfield now rated 56.
What i'm getting at is Wintle must have a fair idea of where this horse stands with those 3 winning horses, Secret Glance also won over C/D 2 years ago from 75 on GS for Richard Rowe, horse has never stayed 1m which is what he's been raced over bar that ill fated Southwell run since joining Wintle. Surprised its only only 8/1 on here now, has already been backed early doors with the books, good luck if you're daft enough to follow!
