Why don't the commentators say "vintage spencer" when he rides like that?  After all he comes second on the best horse far more often that he wins.

Don't normally blame jockey's, but that was unforgivable ! A truly awful ride. No doubt whatsoever that Super Nova should have won this.

You wonder what must be going through any jocks head 2 and 1 out when you know have misjudged it and not going to get there.

Crowley was just as bad imop, seemed to use the horse the most between the 4f and 2f pole, left with nothing.
