I've liked the filly ever since she won on debut, in fact i posted comments that she could win the Albany at the time.
I backed her in the race (3rd) and also a small win bet for next years 1000 at decent odds.
She was in front of Angels Hideaway in the Albany.
AOB form is such that you couldn't back her large with confidence, well i couldn't.

Absolutely nothing wrong with APOB horses, just most aren't very good, she on the other hand is very very good.

FAIRYLAND 3.3 on here now. Trouble is you can never get a straight answer from Aidan, it's always good news from him: 'Agh, she's a grand horse, we're very pleased with her, thanks be to god!' NO use whatsoever, why can't Aidan be more like Johnny G? I intend having a lump on her, but past experience of this stable tells me that if she drifts just before the Off, then I've done me dough!

Aidan basically said that they were no longer suffering from the virus but they had had to be fairly easy on them over the last month and so they would all improve for the run.

Yes Uncle, but I don't recall AOB informing the betting public that Ballydoyle had a virus, perhaps I missed it

He told everyone at the end of July after Goddess had finished last at odds on. It was interview with ATR and he said some were under the weather. He also said they would hopefully get to the other side in 6-8 weeks.

I think 'domino' intimated something was amiss at Ballydoyle prior to the run of Saxon Warrior in the Epsom Derby, and that was on 2nd June. Then situation got progressively worse culminating with the dismal runs of Goddess and Rhododendron in the Silver Flash (July) and Nassau (Aug) respectively; Magic Wand's dirty scope post her Irish Oak defeat was 1st indication from AOB all was not well at Ballydoyle.

I've placed a couple of small (single figure) EW fun place bets at big prices today, The Mackem Bullet (1.55) and Gallovie (3.25 York).
