Never a bad word to anyone on here from Smiffy in my experience, used to have a great bit of banter when scoring the AW comp over the winter months with him (posters like him made it all worth the effort!)
RIP Smiffy and thoughts are with wife and family at this time.

He always put the effort in for the AW comp, a lot of the time behind the scenes trying to get Betfair to offer up some prize money for everyone.
RIP Smiffy

What awful news. Enjoyed chatting with him, particularly during Royal Ascot and the other big festivals. He was the King of the Twopounder Cognoscenti.
Condolences to his family and friends.
