Fury is like marmite - you either hate him or like him.

No one gave him much chance against VK back in 2015 and yet he beat him fairly emphatically and Wilder will deffo be in for a scrap when they meet up and wouldnt surprise me in the least if Fury beat him

Smirnoff,

You're probably a better boxing punter than me (I don't bet on it much) but VK was well past his sell by date when Fury beat him.

Fury is big (even heavier than AJ) he's also got a slight advantage over Wilder in terms of height and reach, but my money would be (and will be) on the latter.

Wilder has a punch and he's the more accomplished boxer in my opinion.

acey,

In the SL this morning, it was 8/11 and evens (Fury) but i haven't checked if that's valid.

For me 8/11 would be a steal.

Andrew  your post 10.25
a very tough ?  why boxing today is all about prize money  take this Fury his next  match both  guys have signed for 40 million a side   win ..lose ..draw  years ago  the best fought  the best   for peanuts

JOE LOUIS   won  plenty of  heavy weight titles  and never got paid  anything like 40 million

sounds a lot 40 million a side  but TV rights will be   a lot more than that
these event  go world wide.....in the old day they was no TV rights   .. same with every sport

wilder hasn't fought anybody, that's why he gets called a bum, lost 5 in the amateurs and been dropped more times than a crackerjack cabbage

don't think you watch much boxing andrew, heavy weight especially can be a minefield but 'more accomplished boxer' you're having a laugh, you not see the ortiz fight, even the yanks aren't fussed on him

Tom, i watch occasionally, but not as much as i used to (ref my earlier 'circus' comment).

By 'accomplished boxer' i'm obviously using that in comparison with Fury, who i don't rate at all, big as he is, and his win record.

imo i dont think fury is as good as what he was...wilder unbeaten but never beaten anyone highly rated...but..im not sure wilder can concede 3st.

ballooning up and doing a bit of coke is ok in everyday life but isn't ideal for an elite athlete,it has to take it's toll, for a big man though tyson is fast with both feet and hand speed

wilder relies on the big punch to get him out of trouble and often gets booed in his fights, if that last fight had lasted 10 secs longer in the 7th we wouldn't even be having this conversation

not a betting medium for me but will be a good spectacle to watch Wink
