Haydock are putting out a Cry For Help

at what stage will a final decision be made maxed and will it make a deference to the cost of entry ?

A full commitment she aint thinking of

Shortly after the 3rd race, probably foxy

They were thinking of getting Tom Jones in as a replacement but Mama Told Him Not To Come.

She'll be locked up , messed  around and taken for a fool

imo

losing the faith in this place

shocking omission

How would anyone tell she's got laryngitus with her grating voice?

Any news?

I think it is called doing an Ora.  Rita famously didn't turn up at Haydock after looking at the ticket sales and seeing it was a 6 race card.

amazing how these vocal artists go all year without throat problems, but they always seem to surface when they are due to gig.

Rick left Picking up the pieces, tbf to Miss Faith it pi$$ed down all night at the recent Towcester gig, maybe the water got into her a bit.

IMPORTANT UPDATE // PALOMA FAITH AT HAYDOCK PARK
Haydock Park and Jockey Club Live regret to announce that due to ill-health Paloma Faith has been forced to cancel the headline show at Haydock Park Racecourse on Friday 10th August.

Racing will still go ahead as planned with gates opening at 15.45, first race at 17.45 and the last race at 20.30 and a performance from The Ultimate Bees Gees Tribute act will play after racing.

Unfortunately, Paloma Faith has been diagnosed with laryngitis. We had hoped that Paloma’s show would go ahead as planned, however after seeing a doctor today, she is under orders to rest further.

Paloma Faith said: 'I am so sorry to announce that under doctor's orders I am unable to perform my two shows this weekend. I hate to disappoint my fans and apologise for any inconvenience caused. I do hope to continue my tour once recovered and look forward to seeing you in the future. All my love, Paloma.'

Our sincere apologies to all those who purchased tickets or hospitality. We would like to wish Paloma Faith a speedy recovery.

An 80% refund for general admission tickets will be applicable of the face value to all racegoers as outlined in the terms & conditions. The refund will still apply even if racegoers would still like to attend the raceday tomorrow night.

For hospitality customers, there will be a refund of 80% off the ticket element of the total price of the package.

If purchased using a debit or credit card via The Jockey Club Live or Haydock Park Racecourse, an automatic refund will be issued to the original payment card within seven working days.

If purchased through Ticketmaster, they will issue you a refund automatically to the original payment card.

Due to the inconvenience, Haydock Park would like to offer bookers a free general admission ticket for Haydock Park's raceday on Saturday 29th September. The racecourse will be in touch shortly with bookers to outline the process of obtaining the tickets.

At least they are fully refunding, as not sure the Ultimate Bee Gee's Tribute Band would have commanded an entry fee increase !

I see Dom has reinvinted himself as the forum pop correspondent.

Actually refunding 80% !! Mind you , I suppose very few will have purchased and not planned to go racing.

Worked out a good deal for many with the 80% refund.

So if you had hospitality for example in the Park Suite restaurant at £110 per ticket you will get £88 back and end up paying just £22 for the whole entrance and meal package.

Looks like Haydock learned from the Rita Ora experience and were well insured !!

Not much use if you don't like racing.

or the bee gees

Or you might only like the real bee gees.

For hospitality customers, there will be a refund of 80% off the ticket element of the total price of the package.

Not quite the deal stated above?

Well spotted Paul!!

Still not a bad deal for County Enclosure, £50 county ticket for a tenner

Surely if you don't go, you should get 100% back.

Yes indeed, great value!

It's a tragedy. Wonder what the crowd will be like, guess it depends on how deep is your love for horse racing.
I won't be Alone, there'll be more than a woman there tonight.
