I think you potentially see a horse run today who will end up a superior horse to what Frankel was. Whether he wins on debut today I can't 100% be sure about, but I think he could be potentially one of the greatest horses of our generation.

He is called Blenheim Palace and he makes his debut in the 2.15 at the Curragh today.

I'm not that fussed until there's one better than Secretariat until then all will remain calm.

He is genuinely the best APOB has, he is streets better than anything that's run out the yard this year and he looks special. He's a nutcase at home (like most good horses) and has had stalls issues, so I firmly expect he will be treated with kid gloves on debut, but if he is half the horse I think he is, he'll still win.
Never seen a horse work like the way this has worked at home and I seriously think he will be the 2000 Guineas winner next year and anyone can quote me on that.

Not saying he will definitely win today, but I think he is somewhat a freak, and will end up in the elite of the elite status.

I'm not too sure your reports overall have produced the fruit some of the hype has suggested without being rude.

But you do talk a lot of sense racing in general.

I have Striding, he done a racecourse gallop with Cardini, Anthony Van **** and Land Force over 6f prior to when he was going to run first time out in the Chesham, he destroyed them.

Well I thought the race had some nice types in it potentially but this has made it more interesting.

Plenty of his obviously don't win on debut and turn out smart so I won't be backing but interesting to see how this pans out.

Not doubting what you say JD, but I notice the pink silks are having a day out with Seamie on top, so at the price e/w SOH for an interest.

I have backed him, took 9/2 went win only, as he has been a problem in the stalls and is a fruitcake at home, so education and experience will definitely be the order of play, but I couldn't let him run at these odds unbacked. Churchill his brother was only 3rd on debut, but I think this horse can overcome an easy ride and inexperience and still win. I got some 80s and 70s for him for the Guineas and a bit of 66/1 for the Derby. He's only about 28s and 33s now, and I think he is the real deal. I won't lose heart if beaten on debut as many of the yards are, and the group 1 winners have been in recent years turned over on debut, but I think he could be serious, and couldn't let him run loose at the odds.

@Cork

If you read a post I put up about 4 weeks ago, this horse was meant to be the pink colours horse I was alluding to. He was going to run in the Chesham on debut, but had a stalls incident at home. He was going to run with Wayne on him, with Cardini also running. Someone more tech savvy would be able to find that post of mine quicker than me.

When I said about a horse in Pink colours about the Derby time, Blenheim Palace was said horse.

I remember you saying it and naming the horse JD, but as it was Gay Pride Day here yesterday and it is a BH it has to be the pink today...!

Welcome back Mr Guest

For those who have no idea what I am talking about Raymond Guest the owner of Sir Ivor backed his horse

before it ever run to win the Derby at big odds with William Hill.

It went on to win the Derby.

Ballydoyle's less than stellar performances recently have led some to wonder about a low-level virus so perhaps not the time to go in head-down.
