Sir Tom Jones @ York

Tom Jones is great to watch live. We saw him a couple of years ago, you could say the same about SPM, but people are still paying £500 to see him in September.

I'm thinking of going myself.

Those grannies need to give their bloomers an airing occasionally you know!

SPM was in the greatest band of all time and wrote numerous great songs. Understandable that on the rare occasions he performs live people want to pay good money to see him. Tom Jones has virtually never picked up a pen in his life, sings mainly overblown nonsense and would sell his soul for a pound. Good luck to the grannies but basically the bloke was always hopeless and certainly is now.

it's not unusual to see tom after racing

After the hail, rain and thunder the brown grass was a bit more like the green grass of home.

I reckon its the other way around.
Hes been performing for 50 years.
Since his wife passed last year, I reckon if he stopped performing hed be bored shtless and probably be dead within a year.
Hes not for me though,but good luck to him.

im a member at york and find this episode slightly disturbing . it is not a rip off racecourse so i am puzzled what has gone on here . i reckon sir tom didnt fancy the copter in the weather but surely the team at york knew that way before the 5th race !!??...as a pr job they should have given everyone a full refund .
