Linamix had some sort of dominant grey gene which meant all his progeny are grey,unlike the normal grey stallions who are 50/50ish unless the dam is also grey. There are the odd ones by Linamix that weren't registered as grey because they wouldn't have looked it when young,before anybody calls me out.

Stalbridge Colonist beat Arkle by half a length when receiving a massive 35lb from Himself and SC was no slouch himself! You have me beat Blackbarn, what was the other Grey that beat him? Was Dormant a grey? |
