Only reward for long service is you get barred from the cash race.

And here was me thinking that if you lasted 20 years you were allowed unlimited stakes on the sportsbook.

Took me around a year to switch to Betfair from flutter, always thought they had the better platform but were so stuck in their ways and only ever looking to make a quick buck during the dot com boom which was a pity. I'd guess most of us would have looked to support the other exchanges that came and went if we'd have known how Betfair would turn out.

It says i'm living up to my name 25/09/02 but it was a bit prior to then as there was a log in problem and I had to register again.
Has anyone had a William Hill account longer than me? I first opened it in 1955 and stopped using it around 1959 when they put restrictions on my account but went back to it a few years later and they gave me the same account number. I also had a Tote Credit account from around 1958 until Fred took over and closed most of the On Course members facilities. |
