I am well enough for a Saturday but reeling under the sheer weight of sport that I would like to watch. Racing, Cricket, Tennis F1 qualifying and some Football on as well I think Sadly, as racing is my first choice, I am likely to see another Group 1 handed on a plate to Ballydoyle.

As a supporter of Wales and Sheffield Wednesday 1966 was the year I went off football and concentrated on racing and cricket.

I have no idea where England were in the betting btw. I'm sure you could bet on football by then but it wasn't a big thing ( I can remember when generally you could only bet on footie on the pools or in multis ).
