If you were standing on the line rather than the tv camera angle ( which looks forward to the line and therefore makes it look like the horses are nearer the line than they are ) you would see that this still is before the line.

thats becos the arns are a yard behind when the head goes over the mirror ..

you cannot stop it anywhere and make the winner a clear winner.

If you cover the line on the grass with your finger (17:01 post) and look only at the lollipops, you can deffo make a case for the winner.

looking at the image in WS jul 6th 5.01pm post, I would say the heads were past the line

but judged by the official print that is where the line is

looks like a case of being fooled by a 2D image of a 3D situation as it looks like far side has definately won to me from the TV angle
another "carlisle esque" foater

i don't understand how you can call the far side a definite winner when i think its virtually impossible to call with angle given

Can you post a still where the position  of the horse's legs match that of the official photo.

That should give an idea of the angle and perspective differences.

thats the best that can be got .. the arms are nearly identical

if theres 9 inchs in that then ive got a 4 foot c0ck

The horse's legs on your pic don't match with the official print

do people realise the photo is made from the reflection of the mirror..the legs position has nothing to do with where they are from the tv still.

was going to say that earlier but i couldn't be arsed explaining it
