Not exactly the four race sequence you were looking for, but always worth recalling the revolutionary (for the time) program followed by Bold Arrangement in 1986. He ran in the Blue Grass Stakes (9F Grade 1), the Kentucky Derby (2nd to Ferdinand), the Derby and the Eclipse.
