Dickens Hill won the Irish 2000 Guineas and Eclipse, and came 2nd to Troy in both Derbies.

Not exactly the four race sequence you were looking for, but always worth recalling the revolutionary (for the time) program followed by Bold Arrangement in 1986. He ran in the Blue Grass Stakes (9F Grade 1), the Kentucky Derby (2nd to Ferdinand), the Derby and the Eclipse.

Thanks for the responses .......good to see a horse running in lots of top races , without doubt one of the reasons Triptych is remembered as a favourite by many.
