I suppose you looked at the form of it's last race then ?

Winner stuffed out of sight next win, and the 3rd was well beat 3rd of 4 behind a stablemate yesterday

Was hardly glowing form to make it odds on.

surely they should drug test the horse Tongue Out
Report kevdartsking July 5, 2018 3:37 PM BST
Be interesting to see how it performs next time out

always got a chance as a layer

Fair point Domino, but, surely, it wasn’t form to suggest it would be beaten about 30 lengths in this though! Trouble with this yard is that you wouldn’t be surprised if it won next time in better company. Impossible, in my opinion, to look at form in relation to horses from this yard as they seem incapable of running two similar races in a row.

The horse that beat him last  race was only beaten in a group 2 also beat the winner today last time out
Report Frank The Tank July 5, 2018 3:44 PM BST
and the third was the winner of the race today!

Exactly frank

On a line with the winner should have done better but never had a sniff of a chance made a Charlie of us all.

Impossible to know what sort of maiden/novice that was today, granted the horse has not run any race but the form of it's debut 3rd was ordinary at best and was let down badly by an odds of fav who was a remote 3rd yesterday. Take the winner out and he's not beaten that far (well wouldn't have been had he not been heavily eased in the final furlong). There appeared to be no support for the winner from a yard who do well there and had the previous race winner. I personally think it was a bad race. I would be very surprised if the MJ horse won anywhere next time myself.

Sorry for some reason I was thinking Zebzardee was 3rd in that Certain Lad race. But he was actually 3rd to it on debut. My mistake

The one thing I wouldn’t be is surprised if a horse from this stable that ran poorly last time out won next time...They’re so inconsistent I’m not even sure if connections have any idea how a horse will perform prior to a run..

they will be @ glorious (nap)

Fozzy if you see above, I was basing that comment on Zebzardee who was 3rd to Certain Lad on debut, and was beaten odds on yesterday, I was getting races mixed up, thinking he was from the same maiden as the MJ horse, but he wasn't. He was from the FTO race of Certain Lad.

Race 4 - 3:30pm
THE ON-LEVEL ON THE UP EBF NOVICE STAKES (CLASS 4) (PLUS 10 RACE)
The performance of PABLO ESCOBARR (IRE) which started favourite and finished fourth, beaten by 17 ½ lengths, was considered. The representative of Mark Johnston could offer no explanation for the colt’s performance. PABLO ESCOBARR (IRE) was routine tested.
As I say next time out will be interesting to see how it performs

Skim the cards each day, and bin any where the bastard has a runner.
Report the dealer July 5, 2018 4:53 PM BST
trained hard, run hard and often, not got any stats but highly sprung is the latest to benefit from a change of regime, and i imagine many stable switchers will be refreshed by a change of routine, training regime and change of scenary.  .
