Actually when mart posts that he won't post for a month it's a lie, but only one of many so we are quite used to his ways. I would think most people are like me, in as much as they don't care if he does or doesn't post and his silly little girls "promise" to not post is an example of how childish he is. big aitch, you cannot be serious? Martin is a bit of a 'celeb' on here. Take his tips as you find them by all means but the man is harmless and adds a bit of humour to the form imho. Martin, I will only be having a nifty on your second selection regardless of how the first one fares. It has decent form and a decent trainer but personally I couldn't risk big money for one reason only....the jockey. g/l for the day. |

Burkey must have been sat there chewing his nails dying to log in as I posted my comments which btw were pointed to Greg.
He just needed an excuse to log back in.... Man of his word ??? Stewy I saw a comment by someone (can't remember who) about you spun king your money away on a daily basis.... aiaf you really think following Burkey is the way to go then your more of a DC than I previously thought. As for Burkey being harmless give ya head a wobble man... He ain't called Billy liar for nothing.. |
|
By:
geoff, I know what you are saying. I don't follow anybody unless I get a certain phone call. This debate has been going on for years now. I know all the stories about Mart but at the end of the day is he harming anybody? Nobody needs to back his tips. I'm backing his first today just to see how it goes. Nothing serious just a bit of entertainment.
|

By:
What's the craic then? The liar couldn't keep to his word for even 24 hours?
Shock, horror.... Greg surely must be debating whether or not to bin that phone - Greg if you are thinking of going down that route please give it to some homeless person who will be happy to have it, and watch them try and decipher marts texts/emails. |

TBF to Mart he said the same thing only a matter of a mth or two back that he wudnt post for a mth and i dont think he lasted any longer than he did this time so hardly a surprise is it

Good point. Why does Greg feel the need to post his 'slips'? |

More to the point why does Greg not feel the need to post Burkeys losers
|
|
By:
What sort of punter goes into a betting shop and takes photos of their slips in the first place, only to post up winners on here? Quite possibly a massive losing mug punter.....
He's like the bloke who used to shout about the 5 winners they had in the afternoon, without mentioning the 20 losers they also had. The most tragic thing is not one single person on here would even be contemplating that Mart makes money punting - bar himself!!! Yet he still thinks he will convince people he does with aftertimed winners and constant lies.... Whilst going to work at 7am ![]() ![]() |

spread on how many times he's gona tell everyone im a failed pre race gambler who knows fcuk all.
spread currently 120-135 |

Burkey will be reincarnated as a parrot as he repeats the same sh1te on a daily basis.....New material required imo.
He still bangs on about the so called 17k or whatever it was he made in 3 months and that it was well documented and put up pre race....When in fact reading the thread shows it is all fabricated tosh... |

Willie you will get smashed to pieces with the spread that low, that figure is about how many times he said you done 150k (in the last month)... |

By:
Like I said, he's harming nobody and you can always ignore. Just as a matter of interest does Martin post his tips elsewhere? He hasn't told me to keep mum about his two for today??
|
|
By:
Martin, if you're looking in am I allowed to share your'e first tip?
|
|
By:
I'm genuinely going out to back Martin's first tip. The form seems to be there. If he doesn't post by the time I come back I will share it with the forum. Being backed I may add and yes it could be a shot in the dark but I told him only to PM me if he fancied one strongly.

Bit dodgy putting up Marts selection pre race, negates the option to lie/falsify/aftertime.
|
|
By:
Apparently, Martin is on Facebook? Does he share there? Anyways I did fancy his selection and managed to get some 11/10 and the rest evens on Jonah Jones in the 2:30 Haydock . I was going to say I hope Martin is on to win a few bob. I genuinely don't know but I am. g/l all.

You think the 6lbs will close the gap between JJ & Hesslewood Stewarty ?
Before you answer I'll just say Hesslewood is my main bet today as I think it's a proper horse. (Disclaimer - I have been known to get it wrong now & then :p ) |
|
By:
Hesslewoods BFSP was 147 that day, suggesting a big run wasnt expected, 3/1 today, I agree with gutty.
|
|
By:
gutfeeling, yes I do....
Dwelt and in rear, headway well over 1f out, ridden and stayed on well final furlong Just that part I have highlighted must be worth a length or more and getting the 6lbs seals it for me. I may be wrong but no surprise to see this beast go off odds on. |
|
By:
For me both were alongside each other for the first 3f with JJ better placed as he had some cover which helps a inexperienced horse as they tend to follow those infront so travel that bit easier,
Hesselwood being inside/standside was racing alone pretty much as those leading for the first furlong him drifted towards the center of the course as soon as they could so his jockey had to be niggling him to get the horse to go a racing pace. Hesslewood took 2 lengths out of JJ when both were asked to get racing (3f out) while JJ was left behind by those ahead of him so he wandered a little as he got some daylight to focus on and while JJ was running on at the finish Hesslewood had only just got going as they hit the line. It's enough for me to think 6lbs that day wouldn't have changed the distance between them so I'd hope it doesn't today. Think both would be suited by 7f already too the way both finished although I think the distance may have been greater if Hesslewood hadn't drifted left away from the whip (God I do tend to ramble on sometimes) Best of luck. |

Maybe, but that's what the forum needs. |

Not a convert tangle but Martin did plant the seed in my heed. It's likely I would have backed it anyways being my type of race and no 4.9% commission.
