Aye,it'll be interesting to see the RP allowance,I'm with you haven't seen it that slow even when they did the resurfacing which I think was 1st August 2016.

I'm outta here, will have a closer look at Passing Star in the morning.

Yeah, 2nd rated wiping the floor with the top. Passing star, still effective at 6?

On the basis of his last 2 6f runs he struggled in the early stages especially when winning @ Chelmsford,he broke well enough last time albeit 7f and turf (has had a blindfold in the stalls previously).
To counter this potential issue Kubler has stuck on blinkers and an aggressive jockey maybe that's what they think he needs,a negative is the potential lack of pace (broken record stuff from Denz) which could end up with a silly 3 1/2f sprint which judging by some of his 7f/1m form from last year won't help.
I can see it being a 3 way toss up for favouritism with Ahundrednotout (won maiden leading over 5f here),Ingleby Molly (had plenty in the tank in a worse race but has 10) and Passing Star the De Sousa factor will kill the price.
Pace is my main worry for him as I think the plan will be for De Sousa to have a go at him early to ensure a pozzy will he then get lit up and be outpaced if there's no gallop on?

The leaders have clearly gone too quick when he won that 6f claimer. Shame he's not entered at 7f or 1m, I'd be all over him then, SDS or not. Pass on Wolv, moving on to ChelmC.
