I'm not a Scahill fan by any means, but do you really think they should be putting the boot in to him when he's just been forced to retire?

BB, if someone isn't up to their job then they should gracefully retire. Scahill is either too arrogant or too stupid to realise he should have done this five years ago. I personally am sick of listening to his errors, and him occasionally missing the start of a race, and people laying 1000 cos he has identified a wrong faller. Cattermole is 57 now - do we let him drone on making mistakes until he is sixty. We all get golden handcuffs and just accept it, except the fool McCririck!
Holt shopped Jane Stickels when she read the photo wrong at Lingfield. Perhaps he should be honest today and not just fudge the issue!
I don't rate him either. The point is that he is going anyway so what is to be gained from the media sending him off with ill will?

Can't see how anyone can criticise Scahill and not all the ego maniacs who commentate in the UK.
