Beat the winner comfortably last time (value for more than the winning margin) but taken back today and never at the races.
Why was he a very weak 25/1 shot yet the winner was well supported at half the odds? There was no obvious reason why the form should have been reversed.
Clearly he was very poorly positioned but that would have been an unknown beforehand so you wonder if the preparation was really as indicated in the Racing Post.
The race today ended up a complete farce with stamina left untested and any out the back having no chance.
