The 1949 film adaptation of DH Lawrence's 1926 short story 'The Rocking Horse Winner' is showing tomorrow, Saturday 30 June, at 4:10pm on the Talking Pictures channel (Freeview 81, Sky 328, Virgin 445, Freesat 306).

It is also scheduled on this channel for next Tuesday 3 July at 9:30am.

First saw this when I was about 14. Once seen never forgotten, particularly THAT scene. Some good old shots of Goodwood. Thoroughly recommended.
