Great news that all the horses involved in the dreadful accident yesterday are recovering well 
The daily Fail had been reporting that one had died. Other news reports had also been a bit vague.

Horse drawn carriages on Narrow roads with cars not a Good Mix ,Obviously hired by people with two much money trying to create some sort of impression ,perhaps next time they will take a taxi ..
They were very Fortunate they were not thrown under the horses .Hooves cracking skulls never a Good thing .

Sonko, the horse definitely survived.
Was going to ask the same thing. Who goes to Ascot in a horse-drawn carriage anyway?

I will take evens who ever they were they wont be travelling by the same mode of transport again .
The whole week is one show off for the wealthy. I used to go but could not go where i felt uncomfortable just being there anymore.
Horrible Ib I can even watch the Shyte on TV anymore a complete load of Pompous shyte in between races 
Especially with rich people beeping their horns....
The Bowmans are very experienced but I wouldn't have gone in that carriage. George Bowman had a nasty accident himself a few years ago.
