This forum has sunk to new depths, people moaning about the winning distances of horses at ascot?!?! Sweet Jesus, next you will be moaning that the colour of the jockeys silks are not to your liking. If there are such clear cut winners I'm sure you found them pre race and mopped up.

![]() When they built the New enormous, cater for corporate, Grandstand ... - They had to re-align the Straight Course - moving it Inwards, from, the Golden Gates One Mile start by a gradually increasing angle, that ended up meaning a completely NEW COURSE from around the 6 furlong start. A new BASE was put down - at that has affected everything. |

Not happy with them messing about with the movement of races

I'm sure you DIDN'T - KeMoH - given your previous performances on here.
My complaint goes further - relating to the Future Form FROM Ascot. Such exagerasted distances Ascot Resulots often travel/transcribe to OTHER courses with a 'relevance' - or, perhaps, irrelevance - similar to the way that Results from the likes of Epsom and Chester (don't do) to elsewhere. |

I would be more concerned about how difficult - Calyx aside - it is to win from on the pace. Plenty of times the pace this week has literally collapsed way before the finish. Horses are not being carried into races and you are trying to find horses who can literally sustain something like a two furlong burst. That sort of quality isn't needed elsewhere and I suspect much of this straight course form isn't going to translate very well.
