The social stable with that 70s gameshow host Emmet is a melter
By:
A cast of thousands, almost feel sorry for Matt Chapman, having to compete for attention
By:
Emmet is very good.
By:
that roaster must be the most annoying presenter in racing
By:
The opening poster's news was welcome. I might watch it today.

By:

By:
Someone is actually missing Jack Milner?
By:
good to see more of j murtagh.
luke looking very smart. |
By:
Considering it's probably a desirable job how come so many average types get these media positions? RUK's team yesterday had a distinct second division feel to me. But the football is the same with the likes of Lawrenson etc,,,

if only chapman could get a dose of laryngitis.......we can hope

More good news today. No sign of Mick Fitz. Maybe they have learned at last.

Francesca has just announced some non runners in today's EBOR whilst Luke is encouraging us to back BROTHER BEAR in the finale at 22 when it's 36 on here.

These presenters, Matt Chapman and Luke Harvey especially, are clowns. Julian Wilson and Sir Peter will be turning in their graves.
By:
Wonder how many 'stunnings' we'll hear from the kow-towing fashion commentators.
By:
So far: Beautifuls 3, Stunnings 2, Gorgeous 1.

"Julian Wilson and Sir Peter will be turning in their graves."
I enjoyed the coverage yesterday, but ITV should have got James Sherwood for the fashion coverage. ![]() |
By:
Great to hear that Fitzgerald is not part of it, lets hope he's gone for good, it persuaded me to watch today. Harvey is totally unnecessary, and more good news is that the ridiculous idea from last year of employing Hayley Turner seems to have been ditched.

Is there anyone who End thinks isn't 'class'? How is Frankie showing 'class' by saying how the horse rode?

Olly is a very good post race interviewer; he is also very courteous, but professional eg not afraid to ask the relevant and awkward questions immediately post the defeat of a very prestigious race ie Cracksman in the PoW.
By:
Thank-you goodness the MC for the prize presentation was not Chapman. Well done Ascot!
By:
AP always looks like he doesnt want to be there......
By:
That is his persona even when he was riding; boring, and not tv conducive at all.
By:
I wish some of the presenters would stop opining/after-timing after the race or at least minimising their waffle - it getting tedious.
By:
sing along b***ocks at the end...

I agree with TELL DELL, the fashion coverage needs a bit of acidity, and Sherwood was absolutely the man for that. AND he also did the men (so to speak!!!) criticising appalling plush and beaver top hats and even decent top hats "like mine
" worn badly. |
By:
Don't think Julian Wilson was quite as good as he thought he was and he got very spiteful late on. Thought Rishi was particularly daft when asking if Atzeni had seen the barging match taking place behind him. Couldn't he see that Baghdad had his wing mirrors removed (shown as WMO) in your race cards.
By:
Think the coverage has been excellent and the balance right
By:
Julian Wilson was awful.
They're orrfffff |

hayley turner back today with her old itv job, couldn't keep the ride on pretty pollyanna.

Alas .birkdale, your comment on Hayley Turner has turned out not to be true. The good news about Mick Fitz continues however.
